Eight Games in the Books, Three More Tonight in Vegas
The NBA Summer League in Las Vegas rolled through a packed Monday slate, and if you blinked, you missed some of the best action of the tournament so far. From buzzer-beaters to double-doubles, the future of the league put on a show at the Thomas & Mack Center and the Pavilion. Here is everything you need to know from today's games and what is still ahead.
Dallas Mavericks 96, Memphis Grizzlies 88
First-round pick Sergio de Larrea put together the kind of performance the Mavs front office had to love: 16 points and 12 assists, running the offense with poise and pace against a feisty Grizzlies squad. Dallas shot 48% from the floor and got a boost from Danny Green Jr. (18 points) and Jalen Diaz Graham (10 rebounds). Memphis got 21 points from Cameron Boozer and a 12-rebound, 5-steal night from Chris Coward, but the Mavericks pulled away late behind de Larrea's playmaking.
Toronto Raptors 94, Indiana Pacers 93
This one came down to the wire. Seth Lundy led the Raptors with 22 points and four threes, and Tyreke Key chipped in 16 points and 3 assists. But the story here was Rienk Mast, who put up 23 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Pacers in a losing effort. Toronto held on for the one-point win and is now 1-1 in Las Vegas.
Atlanta Hawks 102, Boston Celtics 90
The Hawks stayed perfect at 2-0 behind another strong team effort. Atlanta has looked like one of the more polished units in the Summer League field — organized on offense, connected on defense, and deeper than most rosters in Vegas. The Celtics drop to 2-1 but have flashed plenty of talent through the first week.
New York Knicks 86, Detroit Pistons 75
The Knicks picked up their first win of the Summer League behind a balanced attack. New York played tough defense throughout, holding Detroit to under 40% shooting and forcing 17 turnovers. The Pistons drop to 1-1 after a promising opening win.
Cleveland Cavaliers 90, Miami Heat 73
Cleveland got its first win of the tournament in convincing fashion, smothering a Heat team that had looked dangerous in its opener. The Cavs controlled the boards and got scoring from multiple spots in the lineup. Miami falls to 1-1.
Utah Jazz 80, Chicago Bulls 63
Jonas Aidoo posted 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a comfortable win. Utah clamped down defensively in the second half, holding Chicago to just 30 points after the break. The Bulls drop to 0-2 and will be looking for answers in their next outing.
Phoenix Suns 95, Milwaukee Bucks 88
The Suns bounced back from an opening loss with a tough win over Milwaukee. Phoenix got contributions across the board and hit enough shots down the stretch to hold off a Bucks rally. Khaman Maluach chipped in 15 points and 15 rebounds in the loss for Milwaukee.
Portland Trail Blazers 111, Minnesota Timberwolves 84
Yang Hansen posted 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Chris Youngblood led all scorers with 20 points as Portland rolled past Minnesota. The Blazers shot the lights out and looked like the most complete team on the day. The Timberwolves fall to 1-1.
What's Left Tonight
Three games remain on the schedule tonight in Las Vegas:
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Houston Rockets (8:00 PM ET) — The Sixers are 2-0 and one of the undefeated teams left in the field. Houston is 1-1 and looking to get back to .500. Expect a competitive matchup between two teams with legitimate young talent.
Sacramento Kings vs. Brooklyn Nets (10:00 PM ET) — The Kings have only played one game so far (a win over the Clippers) and will look to stay undefeated. Brooklyn comes in at 1-1 after a loss to Atlanta.
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors (11:00 PM ET) — This is the late-night headline. The Warriors are 2-0 and have looked sharp, while the Grizzlies are playing their second game of the day after the early loss to Dallas.
The Summer League continues to deliver early looks at the 2026 draft class, roster bubble battles, and the kind of raw, unpolished basketball that makes this tournament a fan favorite every July.
